Prep now to enjoy a flourishing garden in Summer!
1) Trim it all back!
Grass, hedges, trees and larger plants need a good trim to encourage new growth. Read more about pruning here.
2) Remove the winter
Fallen leaves, dead branches, dead plants – they all need to go! Clear out your garden beds to make way for a nice clean finish.
During winter we tend to stay indoors a little more, which means the garden gets a little neglected and the weeds tend to take over. Get stuck in and get rid of those weeds! Read more about weed management and identification here.
A good top up on your mulch will protect your plants in the warmer months. Not only will it suppress weed growth, but it also helps retain moisture and regulates the soil temperature.
Early spring is the best time of the year to give everything in the garden a good dose of fertiliser. Ask us about Sanovit!
